The Field Technician reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for enhancing Wynn-Reeth’s Remote Support Services program through the processes of installation and service of all equipment. This employee is charged with the duties of seeking out new technologies to meet the demands of customers, setup of new systems, installation of systems, and service of all equipment. The Field Technician assures that the following is completed:

• Ensures all customers and consumers receive services that were discussed during the original assessment process;

• Follows an order from setup to installation;

• Ensures systems are set up per the results of the assessment, and working properly with the appropriate central station;

• Trains the customer on the proper use and maintenance of the systems;

• Provides service to existing customers;

• Maintain professional conduct & appearance while working around county officials, members of the community, interagency personnel, etc.

• Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

The Field Technician must;

• Write and use English language in a legible and understandable manner

• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

• Possess strong problem solving skills.

• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

• Be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.

• Possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and nonprofessional personnel.

• Have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.

• Be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate it into existing practices. • Possess the desire and aptitude to learn new & current technologies.

• Must follow all applicable health and safety regulations as they pertain to the position.
